I saw the high reviews and I thought this was going to be a good film for my new dare. There were tons of bubbles that I still haven't been able to get rid of after 2 weeks of using the dare. The problem is that the underside is "sticky" so it attracts dust and you can't wash or clean it. The dust props up the area of the film creating that bubble that won't go away even over time with lots of use. I ended up needing to throw away the screen protector and buy a different one. When the screen is dark, the bubbles look horrible.
Very satisfactory December 30, 2008 The Woodlander (The Woodlands, Tx)
This is a very satisfactory product. It's very important to apply this film to prevent damage to the screen. It took me 6 tries to get the film positioned correctly; the little notch on top of the film is intended to go over the tiny speaker opening. I didn't know this, that's why it took me 6 tries because when I found out where the notch goes, I had to remove the film and reverse its position. There were bubbles but you can slide most of them to the side using a credit card, if not remove them altogether. (I read the credit card trick from reading someone else's comment here.) Some bubbles will remain but all of them should be on the side where they don't interfere with the images on the screen. Good buy.
Well... December 23, 2008 D. Peterson
It looks like it'll work pretty good on my Dare. I thought I was getting a three-pack though when I ordered it but it turns out it's just a single. For the amount these guys are charging for the product and shipping, I just couldn't give it that fourth star in the rating. I think it'll work well but can't stop feeling like I was hosed on the overall price.
Great screen protector December 15, 2008 Lisa 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This screen protector is a lot better quality than I expected it to be! It is sort of thick, not flimsy at all, and fits the screen perfectly. It does feel a little different than the naked screen or even the plastic that came with the phone, but I think it will be easy to get used to. Definitely a great buy.
Horrible December 7, 2008 B. Craig 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The microfiber cloth is the only good thing about this. It's impossible to apply the screen without bubbles or dust getting stuck under the plastic and the edges are imperfect. I ended up discarding the screen entirely. What a waste of $10.
